Real Estate Rat

This weekend we bought a townhouse. Although the house was for sale by private owner I asked our newly aquired real estate agent to have a look. We discussed the possibility that he would not be paid by the seller because he did not introduce us to the property. " I'm in real estate for the long haul" he said. After we told him we were not going to negoiate his commission after the final offer had been made he tried to kybosh the deal. Everything worked out fine and I got to fire the rat.
