The Great Brown

Last night I went fishing after work and the mighty Bow River did not disappoint.
This is a 27" brown Trout caught from the lower Bow River with in the Calgary city limits. It is the largest trout I have ever caught and it put up a 10 minute battle. We eventually had to bring it to shore because our net wasn't big enough. Thanks to my netman Dave who got thoroughly drenched landing this monster and to Ivor Photography for the fantastic shots.

This guy is a Neil Diamond impersonator. Notice the resemblance? He looks about as close to Neil as he sounds. Visit his site and listen to the sound bites. They are awful. I don't know if this is supposed to be a joke but the guy stinks. Get a load of this quote from his site "I truly realized the magnitude of being compared to the master showman with inimitable vocal styling.....". Holy crap! Are you for real? He even used a hundred dollar word.
If your going to impersonate Neil take a page out of Will Ferrell's book. He has got it right.

A sweet collection worth looking over. My fav is "Hot Lunch" it has a great tag line and the picture.........well it has a hot piece of pie in it. The other that caught my eye was the "Debbie Does Dallas" poster. That movie is a cultural icon. I can't say I've seen the movie but I have heard of it my whole life.

London Bombings

Scary shit! I'm not sure who did it but an al-Qaeda-linked group posted responsibility on a website. People are scared and fear will turn to anger. They are giving all Islamic people a bad name. The world is going to become callous to their plight and racist towards their kind.
